Sorry for the radio silence - I've been sick for the last two weeks. I haven't made much progress, but I'm working on map layouts for the level design in A Journey to Tower. Here's a basic example:
Hopefully that's not spoiler-y at all! They're simple layouts but I've done so because tiling a whole map/level freehand I feel is going to be tricky. The key with these layouts is that I'll use them as a large background over the map, tile over it, then remove it before rendering in-game. This should make it easier to lay out correctly!
Other than that boring stuff, I've added some minor detail to the player - see if you can tell what it is!
*NOTE: It's dust clouds!
I also added A Journey to Tower to the games section on the site, so I can't slack off now! Gotta finish!
